Many of our therapists worked at other clinics where they simply "burnt out". Are you tired of being overworked and underpaid? Tired of feeling burned out at the end of a day? Our clinic is specially designed for the therapist (healthy therapists, healthier clients!). Minimal paperwork (easy-to-use EHR system), autonomy, very supportive work environment, and personalized case loads with high reimbursement rates.
You must be fully licensed, open to learn, a self-starter, and have a good attitude. AODA experience and CSAC a plus. Full time or part time available. What is ABG Wellness Group?
ABG Wellness Group is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide high quality, accessible behavioral health services and support to low income and disadvantaged adults and seniors.
Where are services provided?
ABG Wellness Group specializes in “in-home” counseling. Typical settings include the client’s home or residential facilities.
What are the time requirements?
We typically require therapists to maintain a case-load of at least five active clients. The typical active client’s authorization is for a single one-hour session per week. You would be required to travel to and from appointments (you must have a reliable car) and complete industry standard client documentation (simple with our user friendly EHR system).
What are the collaboration/training requirements?
Therapists are required to attend regularly scheduled monthly collaboration sessions with supervisors and other provider colleagues. If on occasion you are unable to attend, you may schedule a phone conference with the Director of Counseling.
What will I get paid?
Therapists working for ABG Wellness Group are W-2 employees, not independent contractors (this means you have unemployment and workers comp insurance). Depending on experience, therapists typically receive an effective commission of 50-60% on gross billings. You are paid on a monthly basis on the 15th of the month.
How much does a full time therapist make?
It depends on you. We have therapists who are very efficient and see about 25 clients per week (one hour sessions). At 25 billable session hours per week, if you work 46 weeks per year (6 weeks vacation), this works out to be approximately $75,000 per year.
